Summer in the Giant Mountains

Introducing the Giant Mountains and Pec pod Sněžkou

Visit Pec pod Sněžkou, one of the most important tourist and sports centres in the heart of the Giant Mountains. The town gained its popularity for its picturesque sights and its location, which is the perfect starting point for trips to the most interesting spots of the Giant Mountains National Park. Hike Sněžka, run up to its summit or take the cableway there and admire the beauty of the old-growth forest Rýchorský Prales or the peatland Černohorské Rašeliniště, which are the main attractions of the region. In the winter, Pec pod Sněžkou makes the most of its altitude, being covered with snow for half a year. In the spring and summer, it is the best place for hiking and cycling. In the valley of Pec pod Sněžkou, you'll find all services for both an active holiday and a relaxing wellness getaway throughout the year.
